All our euro-profile door cylinders are anti-pick/snap/pull/bump – all the main ways a burglar will try and force your door cylinders to fail. Burglars don’t tend to break glass or door panels any more, these methods create sounds and have the potential for the burglar to get caught. The simplest way to check if you have insecure cylinders is through the age of the door. If you have had a door installed before 2005, then it’s almost certain that you will have a standard euro-profile cylinder in your door and will be susceptible to snapping. Even a couple of years after 2005, your cylinders may still be the insecure ones as there was no law which made double glazing companies install high security cylinders as a standard feature back then.
