Stable Doors

Part door, part window, always useful

Stable doors have been around for a very long time, and they continue to be useful home improvement products today. A stable door is an entrance door which can be either partly opened at the top, or fully opened like a door. Think of it like a window and door combined.

We have three stable door options available:

  • Composite stable door – 50/50 split with the top half opening independently and as a full door, just like a timber stable door

  • Engineered stable door – the top section opens like a tilt and turn window, but sits inside an overall outer frame which opens as one

  • Engineered true stable door – very much like the tradition 50/50 split stable door, but constucted using the engineered door method

All our stable doors comes with a high security door cylinder which combats the following attacks from burglars:

  • picking

  • bumping

  • pulling

  • snapping

  • drilling

Low aluminium door thresholds come as standard on every stable door, ensuring that the bottom of the doors aren’t trip hazards and can cope with every day wear and tear better than old fashioned, high PVCu thresholds.

Your new stable door can come in a wide variety of colours that come as standard. However, if you’re after that particular shade of something different, we can have your stable door sprayed to any colour you wish.
